Check out this Mama Cow! I came across her last weekend when driving home from a shoot. There must have been about 50 cows that I saw when I pulled off the side of the road. They all took off as soon as I got out of the car, but she was the only one who stuck around and let me take pics. She was right by the fence and watched me carefully as I came closer. It was only when I got up really close that I noticed why she was the only one who stayed -- her tiny baby calf was hidden in the grass. Can you see her? Just another wonderful Mother protecting her most priced possession.

p.s.- I'm dying to take pictures on a ranch! Do you know anyone who has a beautiful North Texas ranch? Tell them about me! There's all kinds of neat shots that we could do on a ranch for children, families, couples, etc. I think it would be fun!

Baby Jack

I got to hang out with a really neat family yesterday -- Kelli, Joe, & Jack. Baby Jack just turned six months old. He was such a good baby! I bet they have a lot of fun with their little guy!

We took this first shot in Jack's nursury. I see alot of great rooms on photoshoots but this was one of the coolest! I especially love the sailboats hanging from the ceiling.

In this next shot Jack's sweet Mommy was tickling him. He had such super cute giggles!

Our photoshoot ended with a little bath time...I love babies in bubbles!!!

You've seen this cute Mommy and son before. I photographed their family when he was just a couple weeks old! I can't believe he'll be six months old tomorrow!

I thought I would share some recent shots of my honey bunny. And just like most of the Mothers that I take pictures for it's so hard for me to pick my favorites! He has so many different expressions these days that I just absolutely love!

All Aboard! Toot Toot!

I spent some time with one of my favorite clients this past weekend, sweet baby James. He’s gotten very good at tummy time…. look at this strong little guy! I’m a huge fan of overalls so I got such a kick out of this fun outfit. Mr. Train Conductor man!

Can't you just tell how happy this sweet baby is in this next shot! He was looking up at his Mommy so of course that makes him smile! He was giggling away!

These last shots I’m not even sure his Mommy knew I was shooting. Sometimes that’s when you can get the best shots. We were in the middle of an outfit change and James was being so patient and flexible and just go-with-the-flow. What a good baby! I couldn’t ask for a more perfect client.
