Baby Addison
There's a baby boom going on around here! My second newborn session of the week -- baby Addison and her amazing parents Carrie & Eric. It was great to meet you all!

And how do you make a super cute baby even cuter? A tutu! Great idea Carrie! I've seen cute baby girl outfits but this has got to be one of the sweetest! I've got to get one of these for future photo shoots.

Thank you Carrie & Eric!
Fun Stuff Coming This Fall!

I've got a bunch of new things coming soon for fall! Be sure to check back for updates on new products, packages, holiday cards, and a couple contests with fun giveaways!

For now though a few shots of my cutie. He was trying so hard the other day to open this door. He spent a good 10 minutes trying to get it open. I'm sure my world will change again as soon as he masters this skill. Seems like every couple months something big changes for us that completely rocks my world. Ha! Back in May it was crawling. That really changed things. I expect him to be walking any day now so I'm sure he'll become even more of an explorer once that happens. He is so much fun!

One more just because I think it's so sweet...

Baby Mia
Yesterday I had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful family. It was wonderful to meet Cara, Seth, and Baby Mia. She is six weeks old and absolutely beautiful! Thank you Cara and Seth. Enjoy your pictures!

Notice the sweet dog in this next photo? I love how she snuck in at the very last second. She's just a tiny bit blurred which was totally uplanned but I think makes for a neat picture. She was a quick one!

Don't you wonder what she's thinking? And those lips -- beautiful!

Congratulations Aileen and Chris!
Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing my good friend Aileen. She is expecting her second baby and I was so excited when she asked me to do a maternity photo session. I absolutely love photographing pregnant women. There's just something so incredible and amazing about a woman's body during pregnancy and I'm always honored to capture a small glimpse into their life during this special time. It's so exciting to think that there's a little baby boy who will be making his debut into this world. What will he look like? What will his personality be? Will he have beautiful eyes like his big brother Max? All questions that will be answered soon! Congratulations Aileen, Chris, and Max on the upcoming arrival of your sweet baby boy!

P.S. - to all the expecting parents out there reading this blog -- don't forget I have I have a Maternity + Newborn package. The package includes a maternity photography session, newborn photography session, and 25 birth announcements custom designed just for you! Package price: $175

L & C Wedding

Okay, okay, so I've always said I don't shoot weddings. Well, I'm excited to say that I'm now going to give it a try! My good photographer friend Lindsey and I are going to go at it together. I'm so pumped about this! We shot our first wedding together a couple weeks ago and we're both really, really happy with how the pictures turned out. Here are a few of my favorites from the day...

One more...these shoes were so cool!
Congratulations L & C! Thank you for letting us be a part of your very important day!

James is six months old!

How sweet is this family?!?! They are getting to be quite the regulars on my blog these days. This was our third official session in their Year in the Life package. So far we've done newborn pictures, three months, and six months. Each time I meet up with them I'm convinced even more that they have one of the best babies ever! He was so calm and easy the entire session.

I hear that James has been working very hard at learning how to sit up on his own. Good job James! I am very impressed!

Last one...my favorite...oh how I wish the eyelash fairy had given me eyelashes like these.
