A few more of Baby Cecilia

Cecilia was so very sleepy which I think makes for fantastic pictures! You get to do fun shots like these. What an incredible little baby girl! Parents often ask me when is the best time for newborn sessions. My recommendation is early, early, early. Sometime during that first week or two when babies are still so tiny and so sleepy. Just like Miss Cecilia is here. Of course this is not a set in stone rule but just a recommendation for newborn pics.

Stacy & Gabe have one of those homes that you just immediately feel the love and warmth the second you walk inside. As soon as I saw their new baby I could easily understand why. Baby Cecilia was all of 12 days old when I met her last weekend and she was just amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better newborn shoot. Thank you Stacy & Gabe!

I love their dog in this next shot....guess he wanted to give kisses to their sweet baby too!

Lyla's Cake

And my winner of the best 1st Birthday cake session yet? Baby Lyla! No hesitation...just BAM, hands in the cake, go for it all the way! I've never seen a baby get so into it. It was AWESOME!!!

Happy 1st Birthday Lyla!

Where has the last year gone! The last time I saw this cutie she was just about one month old. Now she's running around, giggling, smiling, playing, dancing! Thank you Marcy and Bobby! I feel like we're old friends now with all the trips I've made to your home. Your daughter is precious and I can just tell y'all have so much fun together!

Jake & Jack's 2nd Birthday

Happy Birthday Jake & Jack! Your party was AWESOME! I had so much fun chasing around these little monkeys. This was the neatest place! So many fun things to do and explore. A fantastic location for a photo shoot. I'm probably breaking some sort of blog rule on how many pictures to post but these must be shared. I easily could have posted 50 more. Thank you to this wonderful family! You guys are so much fun and I can't wait to show you the entire session.

This next one gives me the biggest chuckle. Don't worry, no one was injured. Nana didn't actually fall and the little boy got right back up and continued to have fun.
